Press fitting system for multilayer composite pipes

DVGW-tested

The NTM high performance insulated multi-layer composite pipes with "winny al" can be used with compression fittings.

Fitting made of CW617N brass (new DVGW)

high corrosion resistance

unpressed guaranteed leakage - unpressed connections are detected immediately

2 O-rings made of peroxide cross-linked EPDM (high tightness)

simplified installation instructions

Cut the multi-layer composite pipe to length perpendicular to its longitudinal axis. Remove burrs and chips.

Calibrate the pipe with a tool that has no sharp edges so as not to cut the plastic layer, as this could affect the pressure tightness (calibration tool).

Apply grease or an equivalent lubricant to the end of the pipe to make it easier to fit the O-rings and keep them elastic. Then insert the pipe into the fitting as far as it will go; the insertion depth can be checked through the slots in sleeve A. The fitting can be inserted through the slots in sleeve A. The fitting can then be inserted through the slots in sleeve A.

Place the pliers according to your own marking and press the sleeve with the tool provided for this purpose. Make sure that the longitudinal axis of the pipe is exactly perpendicular to the pliers. For our fittings pliers of type TH - U can be used).

 

 

Please note that you always use press fittings and pipes from the "winny al" system for your installation work.

A DVGW-approved and thus safe, sufficiently tested pipe connection always consists of both components, the pipe and the screw fitting tested with this pipe. If a fitting is processed with a "foreign" pipe, there is no guarantee of tightness and compatibility, as it is an untested and non-approved connection, even if both products are DVGW-approved.

With regard to the professional planning, installation, acceptance and management of the water supply, heating and sanitary systems, the following valid regulations must be observed: UNI EN 806 : 2088 e UNI 9182 : 2010

Please note that the installation of all "winny al" components must be carried out by a technically competent person. The installation must also be documented and stored in a pressure test protocol in accordance with the manufacturer's and legislator's specifications.
